Writing a book review about a book of book reviews seems a bit redundant and I hope that I do not fall too far into the rabbit hole. Williams has compiled 70 of his best book reviews which are arranged alphabetically by the title of the book. Many of these books were read by Williams when he was doing research for his book entitled Revelation and the Fall of Judea. This book was an interpretation of the Book of Revelations. If anyone has read Revelations, this is not an easy task.

Since there are 70 book reviews, I will just cover three of my favorite ones. All of these reviews are written with honesty, clarity and from the point of view of a Christian.

The first review is A Secret of the Universe by S.L. Gibson. This story follows the lives of two men who are friends. One is a Christian and the other is a Scientist. They have philosophical conversations about whether God exists or not. The author of this book uses real quotations that support that Jesus was a myth. Williams believes that science can not measure spirituality and that it is unable to prove that God does not exist.

A.D. 62 Pompeii by Rebecca East is a story that involves researchers inventing a way to go back in time. Miranda is an Archaeologist who speaks fluent Latin and is sent to Pompeii in 62 A.D. She is given a device that can send her back to the present anytime that she wants. She finds herself caught in a fishing net and the fishermen who catch her sell her into slavery. A rich family buys her and even though she can go back to the present, she grows fond of the family and decides to stay.

Cataclysm by Allen and Delair re-examines a theory by Velikovsky who proposed that 3,500 years ago, Venus broke away from Jupiter and caused disruption on Earth. After lots of research, the authors theorized that a fragment named Phaeton that came from an exploded Supernova entered our Solar system about 9,500 B.C.. Many civilizations have records of cataclysmic events in history that in some cases were interpreted as Gods fighting in the sky. Williams found this book fascinating.

This book is very easy to read as most of the reviews are only a few pages long. If you enjoy reading reviews, there are a lot of interesting book reviews in this compilation.
